Remarkable Gifts is a retail store located in Queenstown. Our main customers are tourists from Asia, Europe, Australia and United States and we offer products ranging from fashion, health, beauty, food and souvenirs.
We are looking for a Tour Coordinator to join us. This is a permanent position and you will be expected to work 40 hours per week.
As the Tour Coordinator, you will report to marketing manager. You will be responsible for assist marketing manager to planning, implementing and administering our marketing project aimed at tour groups from Asia. Also you will need to maintain good relationship with our inbound/outbound agent, work with them to achieve our marketing target.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
1.A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tourist related retail sales, prefer previous experience as tour coordinator or marketing in tourist industry; or hold a relevant qualification;
2.Sound knowledge of NZ/Queenstown as a tourist destination preferred.
3.Good organisational skills; and self-motivated
4.Commitment to work flexible hours, including late evenings, weekends, and school holidays
5.Excellent sales communication skills, people skills and business development skills required.
Fluency in Mandarin will be highly beneficial as you will be required to communicate effectively with travel agents, tour guides and tour escorts.
