Auckland Sales Representative

KE KELIT – NZ Limited is looking for an experienced Sales Person to join our rapidly growing business, as we look to expand our operations and increase market share through the North Island.

You will be responsible primarily for the sale and promotion of KE KELIT’s range of high-quality European piping systems and, depending on experience and qualifications, the role may be a combined position including both heating and piping systems/products.

Job brief

We are looking for a professional individual to plan, direct and coordinate daily sales activities throughout the Auckland region of New Zealand. Ideally you would be based in that region.

This sales position will operate within the residential construction market segment, targeting installers, merchants and specifiers to generate sales. You will be required to identify and capitalize sales opportunities in accordance with KE KELIT’S strategic plans and sales objectives.

We are looking for a motivated professional who is a self-starter, can work towards a common team goal and work as an individual or within a team environment.

You will be required to work towards predetermined common objectives and execute sales and marketing strategies in accordance with KE KELIT guidelines.

The position will be revenue and activity focused with daily CRM requirements, you must be able to build relationships and manage dynamic situations daily.

Organisation and advanced planning of sales activities that is technology based to manage customer relationships are essential skills. You will be fully trained and supported to understand, utilize and manage our CRM package.

Previous experience within the plumbing/heating industry or a background in services engineering is preferred but not essential.

You will be supported by and report to your sales manager/s, in addition a proficient technical team and marketing team based at our head office will provide support.

You will be required to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within your business unit, cross sell between various KE KELIT business units effectively pass sales leads and opportunities to other sales people who operate in other business units.

Travel is essential for the role.

Responsibilities
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Attend and organize various promotional events and activities.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Utilize existing networks to capitalize on sales opportunities
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Revenue and sales activity focused
• Daily CRM inputs in accordance with company’s requirements
• Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a sales representative, preferably with a strong background with Plumbing, heating or mechanical services.
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships or have a willingness to learn and develop the disciplines required to utilize KE KELIT’s existing BRM & CRM practices/platforms.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Salary range 65-95k (depending on experience) plus result driven bonus.
Tools of the trade provided, car, phone, laptop etc.
