About Bobby as a van...
Bobby is 100% reliable. He has recently had a full service. He had a WOF earlier this month and other than needing new ball joints (which we paid for and have receipts to show) he was absolutely fine. We have also just had his wheels aligned and oil and filter were changed at the last service (not due for another 10,000km!). He comes with a real jack and of course a spare wheel. He also had roof racks fitted by us (we have stored bikes but can be used for anything!) He has three seats in the front, air conditioning, huge JVC speakers, CD player, AUX cable, and USB adapter. He has remote locking too.
About Bobby as a home....
We are the first backpackers to own Bobby and we made him self contained ourselves (complete with all paperwork from NZMCA). He has a REAL DOUBLE MATTRESS, comfy pillows, feather duvet, dreamy fabric ceiling, blackout curtains, and tinted windows- making for a great nights sleep! He comes with a working sink, fresh water and grey water tanks, a two burner gas stove and a travel fridge! He has so much storage, with built in shelving along one side of the bed, hanging storage on the other, two large under bed drawers at the back, a large area for rucksacks, camping gear etc at the side AND as both doors slide open there is even more storage at the other side! Bobby is very well laid out; the stove and sink are at the back meaning you can cook inside or use the boot as shelter if needed. All kitchen equipment is included, even our home made spice rack! He also comes with outdoor camping table, two chairs and solar powered lantern lighting.
