The Elegance is the top end of the Swift - 560 range and offers so much by the way of quality fixtures and fittings, the list is pages long. The 560 is very much the model of a modern touring caravan with two-tone gloss finish to the upper lockers, large sunroof over the lounge, where the front bulkhead is almost full front window. It comes with a 135 ltr fridge freezer and 255- watts of solar on the roof connected to two new AGM batteries for those off-road trips, a motor mover and the Alco ATC trailer braking system plus a bike rack, outdoor shower attachment and alloy wheels.
It also has a 35ltr on board water tank and it is self-contained. It has separate lounge, walk around north south bed, a great sized shower plus a series of 240 mains sockets, 12V USBS, 2 x tv sockets, satellite dish and a DAB/FM radio is also standard.
The luxury continues all the way up to Alde central heating system, along with features like Swift Command, meaning you can operate lighting, gas and electrical items via a 7inch, touchscreen or remotely by an app.
At the back, that main bed is some 1.90m x 1.33m. It’s a Duvalay one-piece mattress, flanked by his and hers wardrobes with mirrored doors and mini ledges over drawers and lockers. There’s a mains socket bedside the bed and a USB other side, plus two speakers and a TV point to watch TV in the morning in bed.
Verdict: Top-of-the-market single axle, island bed offering total luxury.
Plus: Sheer level of equipment, modern-day styling inside and out.
