Unfortunately there comes a time in ones life where you have to let go of the things you love. Due to moving overseas I have to get rid of my baby, my Black Type S RX-8.

Due to time-wasters on trade me I now have less than a week to sell my car before moving overseas. Highest offer takes it.

I have spared no expense on my RX-8 while I have owned it, in the last six months I have receipts totaling $11,180 on preventative modification and a full engine rebuild. Including the 18" wheels with Potenza RE003s and the new engine block I have spent a total of $14,430 to ensure that this is the most reliable RX-8 possible.

All work was completed by Jon at Strange Workshop:

Lower KM full block out of a wrecked RX-8.
Full rebuild with complete OEM spec Parts.
(After rebuild has been compression tested showing 120PSI)

2.0 KW Starter Motor Upgrade.
New battery.
New Coils.
New Spark Plug Leads.
New Spark Plugs.
New Excedy HD Clutch (new slave etc).

SOHN Adapter ( OMP Adapter)
- For the uninitiated a SOHN adapter is used to hook up a separate reservoir in your engine bay to the oil metering pump. This means that your not pumping in the dirty oil from your engine but fresh Clean 2-Stroke that you fill up in the reservoir. This prevents unnecessary wear on the seals in your engine.

- Again this modification was done to prevent carbon buildup in the engine and let it breathe.

Lightened Flywheel.

It has only done 2000kms. Since the rebuild has been into Jon for its final 'all-clear' checkup and a fresh oil change. Is still showing a CEL but my mechanic has read the code and told me that it isn't an issue, does not affect the car in any way. The light is for "secondary air injector" which is used to pump air through the catalytic converter to make it more efficient. The sensor is just being a bit funny because the catalytic converter has been removed. When the code is cleared it goes away for days at a time before coming back. This does not affect the cars performance at all.

I have not taken photos of the receipts as to prevent future scammers getting a hold of them and trying to sell a blown RX-8 on FB. Buyer will receive all receipts for the work stated above.

Has only been run on BP 98 Octane Fuel and Motul Racing 2T

Car will be sold with a fresh valet, WOF and Six Months Registration.
