GlassTeam is a NZ owned and operated, successful and progressive Glass Processing business located in Manukau Auckland.

We are now looking for an experienced Digital Image Processor as we are about to commission the most advanced Diptech digital ceramic ink on glass printer and purpose-built print room in the country.

The Digital Image Processor will prepare all imagery for digital printing of high value architectural glass products and oversee the printing function within our business.

Your key responsibilities will be to

Assess, create and manipulate digital image files for printing directly onto glass with our Ceramic Digital Printer


Communicate effectively with customers and architects regarding their printing requirements.


Create print previews and samples for our customers


Set up and maintain a logical file structure for print files for future retrieval.


Support in house sales and customer service staff with print knowledge to enable the sales process to be as efficient as possible


Provide clear concise print instructions for each job to ensure that the print operator knows exactly what finish and quality is required.


Start, run and maintain our Digital Printer


Manage procurement and stock of all printing consumables


To be successful in this role you will need to

Ideally have experience in a similar role within the commercial printing industry.


Have advanced skills in the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software for both Vector and Raster artwork.


Have the ability to read architectural drawings and interpret technical information


Have good communication skills and be confident in talking to customers about their printing requirements.


Be willing to learn and share your knowledge with your colleagues.


Be physically fit, able and prepared to lift glass.


Have a can do, solutions focused attitude.
