Are you currently working as an equipment/electronics technician but looking for variety and a new challenge? The School of Biological Sciences is recruiting for a technician to join the technical team who support the teaching and research programmes within the School.
You will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance on a range of electronic and scientific equipment. Your mechanical skills and experience with workshop fabrication processes will be put to good use. You will also support the development of specialised equipment for research projects.
You will need to be a registered electrical worker and hold a current Electrical practicing license.
This is a varied and interesting role within an established team. You will be a results driven team player who can develop effective working relationships with staff and suppliers. Due to the nature of the work some flexibility with regard to work hours may be required from time to time.
