About the role: Due to ongoing work in the Waikato and continued growth Nicholls is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to become part of our team. The role will undertake a challenging of drainage works that will ensure you are kept stimulated within the role.. This role also requires occasional labour assistance to be provided to the drainage team.
Our fleet of excavators include Hitachi 13T, 20T with GPS and a 35T, with all equipment being modern and well maintained.
You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team in a rewarding work environment. You will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and be dependable. You will also be a safe operator always aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and well being of yourself and other people. A full and valid driver’s license is essential, Class 4 is favourable but not essential.

Applicants are required to have the following:
• Relevant experience operating an excavator, drainage is preferable but not essential.
• Entitled to work within New Zealand.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
