EXPERIENCED TRACTOR/MACHINERY OPERATORS - FIXED TERM OCTOBER 2020 to APRIL 2021
Coastwide Forage Solutions is an agricultural contracting business based on the West Coast of the South Island. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality work in the areas of cultivation, baleage, silage and other forage plants for our customers.

We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, reliable operators to join our small but friendly team for the 2020/2021 season. Finding the right person to fit our team is important.

Key requirements are:

Applicants must have a minimum 2 years’ experience operating balers, triple mowers and cultivation equipment.
Great communications skills; to liaise with the farm owners and managers
Have a mechanical background to maintain equipment to a high standard.
Be able to work independently; performing well without daily or close supervision.
Able to comply with our Health and Safety Requirements.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think outside the box.
Must have full class 1NZ drivers' licence or equivalent of.
Applicants must be flexible with working days/hours, be physically fit and healthy.
Be honest, reliable, and punctual, self-motivated and able to get along with other staff and customers.

Applicants need to understand that our work is weather dependent, meaning the successful applicant would be required to work irregular hours (including weekends and nightshifts).

Remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience but the overall package is very competitive in the market. Accommodation is provided.

You must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing and be able to provide us with 2 references from previous employers. You will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand and be available to commence work by OCTOBER 2020
