Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician to join our busy service team in Christchurch. The role offers great variety performing a range of tasks including fault finding, diagnosing, repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment and machinery both in the workshop and out in the field.
You will need:
• To be a trade certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with
proven experience
• To be technically advanced in machine repairs and
maintenance
• To be familiar with current engine, transmission and
hydraulic systems
• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of
electronic/electrical circuits and systems
• To have strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• To have strong time management skills and attention to
detail
• To have an exceptional level of customer service
• To have strong written and verbal communication skills
• To be able to work within a team environment as well as
think for yourself
• A current, clean drivers license (other classes &
endorsements an advantage)
