This is a busy and varied production role, which involves operating our TRS 5 roll former, overhead gantry crane, handling paperwork and general housekeeping. Working in our factory store at Cavendish Drive, you will ensure production meets quality standards and customers’ demands.

What will you be doing:

Operating the roll former roofing machine with care and expertise
Loading and unloading the machine with a gantry crane
Running production roll former machines e.g. roll former, flat steel, setting up guides, feeding the coil into the machine, observing and making sure material is roll formed correctly, strapping and then packing the finished products
Operating the machinery with care and expertise
Manufacturing products to the highest standard in the required time frames
Assisting with regular stock takes


Our ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality control
Proven work ethics and reliability
Experience in the metal, production, manufacturing industry or in a similar role would be a great help
Roofing manufacturing background - roll forming experience desirable
Warehouse/production environment experience
Steel handling experience
Some manual handling of the steel products will be necessary, so you will need to be psychically fit and capable
