Stopforth Contracting Ltd is a civil contracting business based in Waikuku, North Canterbury. With our continued growth and success, we now require an additional machine operator to keep up with our forward workload in an exciting time for the business.
Our work involves subdivisions, 3 waters drainage, site works and rural contracting projects in the Waimakariri, Christchurch and Selwyn districts.
To be successful in this roll you will have:
experience operating diggers from 1.7t to 20t
experience with trenching around services in a road corridor and/or in busy Greenfields sites
a full class 1 Licence (Class 2 and 4 are preferable)
a WTR endorsement
good communication skills
a strong safety and quality focus, be reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
an adaptable and positive attitude willing to complete a variety of work types where one day is not always the same as the next.
