We have positions available for experienced steel fixers, with a minimum of one-two years' experience on construction and/or infrastructure projects. We strictly follow all employment law, so on top of your hourly pay rate you will accrue sick and bereavement leave, will be paid for public holidays according to your average hours worked; and will be paid annual leave at 8% of your earnings.
We have one long term project starting in the Tauranga CBD in September, with additional projects coming up in the Western Bay of Plenty region.
A good understanding of Health and Safety is required, please note you will be required to wear long sleeves, long pants and gloves everyday along with other standard PPE, which we will provide. We will provide both extensive in-house training, as well as external training such as Site Safe, ConstructSAFE and First Aid training.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTS ARE A REQUIREMENT OF THIS POSITION, along with the ability to pass ongoing random drug tests.
