Pukaki Flats Farming is a farming operation located near Lake Pukaki on Simons Pass Station.
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable and energetic individual to join our team to assist us with:
Efficient implementation of feed budgets; grazing plans and stock movements for sheep & cattle operations
Monitoring and recording the condition and performance of livestock and pastures using the latest technology
Implementing animal health programmes
Maintaining the property to a high standard
Operate and implement the farm H & S Plan
Our ideal applicant will need to have the following attributes:
Be a good hard working self-motivated individual
2-3 years Stockmanship experience
Have good hands on practical farming skills with exposure to feed budgeting and grazing plans albeit a willingness to learn
Have good people and communication skills, be honest and reliable.
Willingness to do a broad range of activities within the business
