Thompson’s Horticulture Limited is a family owned and operated kiwifruit and vineyard management company, with orchards and vineyards in Opotiki and Gisborne.
We are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced sprayer/machinery operator to join our progressive and growing business. The successful candidate will be motivated, capable and committed in implementing the day-to-day activities on the company vineyards under the direction of the Vineyard Manager.
Our successful applicant will have:
• Current Growsafe Qualification
• Wheels Tracks and Rollers Endorsements
• Have experience with the operation and maintenance of other tractor’s and machinery
• Experience operating vineyard machinery and an understanding of viticulture operations is preferred
• High level of accuracy and record keeping
• A current drivers license
• Be able to work well within a team
• Be able to work long days when required
