Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a Senior Communications and Marketing Adviser to lead communications and marketing for its philanthropic initiatives.
This role will lead the University's communications and marketing activities that support the mission of the Development Office and Victoria University of Wellington Foundation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an organisation that is in a significant period of growth. Your role will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives to communicate and market the University's significant philanthropic goals. You will be part of a team of development professionals working to achieve these goals, and will work with communications, marketing and engagement professionals to develop a range of communications, written and digital material to engage with key audiences.
To be successful in this role, you will be a communications and marketing professional with sound experience working on strategic projects. You will be able to build effective relationships, understand complex issues, and develop innovative solutions. You will be a resourceful, can-do person, who thinks creatively and enjoys a challenge.
We offer an interesting, fast-paced working environment where you will be part of a supportive team. This role is based in the University's Development office but is part of the University's wider Communications, Marketing and Engagement Group and reports to the Alumni Engagement Manager.
