Para Kore is a not-for-profit Māori organisation, (by Māori, for Māori) with charitable status. Para Kore is a zero waste organisation with a kaupapa based on whakapapa to Papatūānuku and is expressed through an experienced and skilled team who work regionally delivering the Para Kore programme to marae, Māori communities and Māori organisations. The Para Kore whānau are passionate about, and committed to, achieving a zero waste Aotearoa.

The Advisor Manager will work closely with the General Manager, remotely managing our Kaiārahi (Waste Advisors) in their respective regions. It doesn't matter where in Aotearoa you live as this is a work from home role. You will need reliable internet access. The position is 30 hours per week.

Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicant will take accountability for management of regional Kaiārahi, with a focus on leading the team to achieve their deliverables and enhance their contribution within the organisational tikanga and values. The successful applicant will also:

# Liaise with councils, funders, Māori Trust Boards and others to secure funding and to build relationships.

# Complete milestones, budgets, variations, deliverables, partner and accountability reports and special projects as required.

# Manage funding strategies (and funding applications) for each region: to enable the continuation of the programme.
