Description

Our Client is looking for a Manager to manage the business, provide financial over-sight and run projects to continue to grow and develop the businesses asset base.
It is a strategic position so you will be pursuing opportunities to grow and develop the business further and have strong financial skills to protect the assets the company owns.
Responsibilities include:
* Staff management
* Funding applications
* Liaise with stakeholders in the community through networking opportunities
* Oversee the property portfolio including tenancy and maintenance including renewing contracts and leases
* Develop and manage budgets
* Help write and develop the companies strategic plan
* Board Reporting
Reporting to the Board through the Chairperson, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the business alongside the competent office staff and run projects as determined by the strategic plan. The main direction of the organisation is to contribute to the economical and social capital and infrastructure of the Kawerau township and it's people.
The person we are looking for:
* Experienced General Manager
* Proven financial acumen skills
* Experience working with and reporting to a Board
* Experience with reporting and compliance to the Charities Commission.
* A team player with a high level of personal integrity
Kawerau is booming with many projects thanks to the Provincial Growth Fund and we want someone who can lead us through our next growth stage.
