Strength Works is Northlands premium 24 hour gym. We are looking for a friendly, highly motivated and reliable individual to oversee the daily operations of the business and lead our small team.

Our mission is to bring a premium strength and conditioning facility to Northland in which our members can
access the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We acknowledge the busy lives we all live
and we prioritise making strength, conditioning and fitness available to everyone no matter
what their schedule is.

Job Overview:
This is a varied and fun customer facing role where you are tasked with overseeing daily business
activities and operations, improving overall business functions, managing and improving sales,
ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction, managing membership data and information,
engaging with vendors and improving administration processes. You will also uphold the values of
Strength Works – A friendly and welcoming environment for all, a clean and tidy environment to
work out in, and a high standard of customer service. At times you will have sole charge of the gym
and will be responsible for opening and closing procedures.

Job responsibilities (including but not limited too)

Overseeing and improving daily business operations.
Improving revenue
Generating reports and giving presentations
Managing membership data and retention
Managing and improving sales
Ensure coaching and programming standards are maintained
Ensure equipment and premises is maintained and cleaned to a high standard
Resolve customer problems and complaints
Lead generation and conversion
Create and deliver safe and effective training programs where necessary
Keeping up to date with current trends in the fitness industry and pursuing continual professional development.
Developing marketing plans and advertising content and managing social media pages.
Meeting KPIs and following up on sales and leads.
Creating rosters and managing staff

Experience within the fitness industry is preffered but not required. Training provided.
