Kaitautoko Whānau - Rangatahi / Whanau Support Worker
Hauraki Māori Trust Board, Paeroa, Waikato
The Hauraki Maori Trust Board is looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team in Paeroa. This is a full-time position which will see you working with our pepi, tamariki, rangatahi and whanau within our community and within their kura.
We are looking for someone that:
· Has a genuine passion for helping our tamariki, rangatahi and whanau achieve.
· Has excellent problem solving and relationship management skills.
· Has a qualification in Social Work or similar or a qualified Youth Worker or equivalent work experience or lived experience working with tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau
· Has already established relationships within the community
· Has the ability to self-manage
· Has good administration and organisational skills
· Has strong written and oral communication skills
· Will be comfortable working in a Kaupapa Maori organisation
· Can be flexible, as we are a team who support each other
