Description

Due to growth during the past year we now require an experienced individual to join our administration team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and has previous administrative experience. You are able to work unsupervised and self-motivated. A proactive person who uses their initiative and enjoys working in a team environment.

You will be working at our group manufacturing facility head office which is located in the Highbrook Industrial area of East Tamaki Auckland.

Some of your key duties will include:

Receipting and processing of sales orders.
Responding to inquiries from the national sales team regarding orders and despatch dates.
Monitor client accounts and debt register.
Liaise with the Despatch department to schedule deliveries.
Ordering and processing orders from external suppliers.
Assisting the company accountant and inputting of data into our two software systems.
Customer care including phone calls, emails and face to face customer service in showroom.
Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and internet-based database programs is essential.
Assist with the day to day running of the office.


TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU SHOULD DEMONSTRATE:

Relevant NZ qualification and/or previous experience within an administrative role.
Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English.
Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) MYOB.
