Policy Project Co-Ordinator

Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Maori organisation delivering integrated health and social services across the Tamaki Makaurau region. We provide quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare and support to whanau.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity:

This is a newly created fixed-term role (6-month work opportunity). We are completing a review of our organisational policies, procedures and forms, and are looking to update them across the organisation. We are looking for someone who will work closely with our Quality Manager to take the lead on this project.

As the Policy Project Co-Ordinator, no two days will be the same. You will spend time working with our Quality Manager and also independently across our sites in Mangere and Panmure. You will design and manage the delivery of new and updated policies, procedures, and forms. The right person will consider all factors of the organisation, ensuring each teams needs are met and all queries are answered.

The purpose of this role is to take the lead on this process and build strong working relationships with staff to smoothly implement the new changes. The hours for this role are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, based at our Manukau office (but travelling to our other sites regularly).

Leadership skills with the ability to create a high performing team environment.
Ability to build and maintain high quality relationships across the organisation.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Proven track record of implementing new systems.
Great computer skills and the ability to learn new programmes.
Able to develop annual and monthly budgets.
Has the potential to multitask and take on multiple projects at once.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
Ability to speak Te Reo Maori would be an advantage.
Full Drivers Licence required.
