We have a vacancy for a receptionist at our Mangawhai Veterinary clinic.
This is a part-time position, Thursday and Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday mornings. You will be part of a team of three receptionists, with Saturday morning being sole charge.
We are looking for a friendly, switched on individual to join our busy team of Vets and nurses providing veterinary care and services to our valued members and customers.
Your main responsibilities will include
• Providing high level reception and customer services.
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Ordering and managing stock.
• Taking payments and balancing daily banking.
• Selling and discussing products with clients.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, have great communication skills, and ability to build good client relationships. You will need to be organised, have good computer skills, be able to multi task and work well under pressure.
Previous experience in a similar role, and a background in animal care or farming would be advantageous.
