Horowhenua Vision Centre is a family owned optometry practice in Levin. We have a position available for a Receptionist/Technician
Duties include:
reception duties such as meeting and greeting customers, answering the phone, managing appointments and taking payments
repairs to spectacle frames
ordering, cutting, edging, fitting of spectacle lenses to frames using automated computerised technology
spectacle dispensing duties - assisting with choosing frames and fitting frames to customers
The applicant must have:
a basic understanding in mathematics to Year 11 at secondary school
an ability to listen as training is given
a personable manner when relating to customers and other staff within the practice
an ability to work in a busy team environment
