Kane Farms dairy is a 685 cow operation located 5 minutes south of Tapanui and 20 minutes north of Gore.
Applicant must have at least 2 years’ experience and confidence in cow health and pasture management.
The farm has a modern 54 bail rotary shed and 2 adjoining runoffs to keep everything all in house.
Accommodation is available on farm in a 4-bedroom home with wood burner and heat pumps.
Successful applicant will hold a full drivers license, the right to work in NZ and must pass a pre-employment drug check
You will be working in a team of 4 permanents with 2 relief staff on a 6 and 1 roster for calving and 5 and 2 for the rest of the year.
An opportunity is available for the 2019/2020 season for a herd manager position.
