Assistant Dispatch Manager/ Yardman Required
Mitchpine Products Limited is a Round-wood/ Sawmill in the Horowhenua Area.
Mitchpine is a family owned and operated business with a proud history. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive can do attitude.
We are based in the Horowhenua, a district which offers the best rural lifestyle in New Zealand, a great climate, and affordable housing.
For the right candidate we will look to offer a relocation package.
Proven experience is a must and specific duties will include:
• Serving customers
• Order entry
• Loading /despatching trucks
• Organising and restocking the yard
• Picking orders
• Back up truck driver
• Weekend work
• General duties/housekeeping as required
Attributes that Mitchpine is after
• Be practical, self-motivated and be able to multi task
• Excellent customer service
• Wheel loader experience a must
• Knowledge and experience in Timber or wood products would be advantageous.
• Organised and good time management skills
• Maths and measuring skills,
• Computer literacy in order entry
• Work well with others and on their own
• Have very good verbal and written communication skills
• Have good health and fitness appropriate to the required position
• Are willing to work as part of a team and have a great attitude
• Have a real desire to learn
