At Regal, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our Operations team. As a Regal
Despatcher, you will be tasked with assisting our truck drivers and units to deliver a quality service to our clients. You will organise delivery and ensure our drivers know where they’re going, what they are required to deliver and any special requirements that may be needed. Located at Regal’s headquarters in Tamahere, just out of Hamilton, this position is an opportunity for you to become part of our progressive and well-established family business, in a role where no two days are the same.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
If you have experience, initiative, a can-do attitude and sound knowledge of New Zealand’s transport regulations, this could be the job for you. You’ll be able and willing to work flexible hours; you will be committed to delivering a professional and efficient service to all Regal clients; and you will take pride in your work. Above all, you’ll place safety at the forefront of
everything you do because at Regal, safety is critically important to us. We do things right and we manage risk.

We’re looking for someone who:
well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills strong geographical knowledge of New Zealand
sound regulatory knowledge of the transport industry
met with both company and customer Health and Safety requirements, including a pre-employment drug test
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
Experience in either despatch planning, truck and trailer driving, and/or the agricultural, roading or industrial contracting industries would be an advantage.
