Integrated Foods Limited are looking for a progressive professional Farm Manager to join our Gisborne based business.
This opportunity is located at Whatatutu, 30 minutes north west of Gisborne. This farm is 2474 Ha wintering 27,000 sheep and beef SU on rolling to medium type hill country. The operation consists of 3 linked breeding and finishing units.
With six direct reports including block managers, this management role is a great opportunity for a professional manager to take the next step in scale and performance.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous farm management experience
· Knowledge and experience with forage cropping
· Proven experience in livestock finishing systems
· Tertiary qualified or Ag ITO L4 Sheep and/or Beef
· Excellent stockmanship
· Health and safety minded
· Great communication skills
· Computer literacy
· Strong leadership skills that enable them to get the most out of their team
There is a 4-bedroom homestead with a recently renovated kitchen and bathroom available for the successful candidate.
