We have an opportunity for a full-time Field (Health and Safety) Inspector at our base of operation in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty.
Amongst other things, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring both safety and efficiency are maximised
Conducting routine inspections of safety gear, tools and equipment
Ensuring that workers, management, contractors and relevant personnel comply with occupational health and safety legislative requirements
Providing training with respect to health and safety
Maintaining health and safety records and preparing reports
Find hazard in orchard before start work.
. communication with growers regarding spraying, tractor work and any other tasks in the orchard
In order to be considered for the role, you will have to demonstrate that you have relevant experience within the agricultural/horticultural industry. A tertiary level qualification will be an advantage.
The role will attract a market related salary.
