We have a Herd Manager role available for the 20/21 season starting 1st June as our current 2IC has moved into a management role on farm. We are looking for a passionate, hard working and energetic individual to join our team on our high producing dairy operation. Our farm is located 5 min from the township of Winton, milking 660 cows through a 60 bail rotary with protrack, ACRs and auto teat spray, our system includes a 660 stall wintering barn as we milk year round. We strive to set a high standard in the industry and take pride in presenting excellent on farm facilities. Applicants must have attention to detail, good communication skills and be passionate in working with us to achieve excellence in stockmanship, animal health and milk quality.
Running a new 6-2 roster and a 6-1 Roster over calving time (Aug-Sep)
3 Bedroom Cottage available on farm
Remuneration will be based on your farming experience and skill set.
