We are looking for two people to cover all milkings, both on a 4on/3off roster. One day a week both staff will be on farm, the remainder of the week you will work by yourself. Farm owners live on farm and will be supporting you in your role. These two positions could suit a couple.
Key points we are looking for in both people:
* Two years experience in a Herringbone shed
* Enjoying working with high producing cows
* Be able to milk 400 cows and manage a 30 aside Herringbone shed with ACRs by themselves
* Be able to manage feed pad
In return we can offer
* A good hourly rate
* All public holidays off
* All work gear (overalls, gumboots adn wet weather gear) provided
* During milking season (August -April) approximately 40 hours per week
* During Off season (May - July) an optional 20 hours can be worked per week
These positions can be drive in positions, or if needed a house can be provided.
The farm is 5 minutes from Temuka and 25 minutes from Timaru
