Homecare Worker Team Leader

We make a real and valuable difference in the lives of our clients. To do this, we need a Homecare Worker Team Leader with a passion for coaching, development and quality improvement.

In this role you will work alongside one other Homecare Worker Team Leader to together manage a team of 160+ Homecare Workers. Together you will lead this large remote team to support older people in their homes throughout the Auckland DHB area. Your interpersonal skills, compassion and attention to detail will help you greatly in this role. You need to be able to provide consistent high quality advice, manage a complex working environment and thrive under pressure.
In our complex and compassionate environment we are looking for someone who can support Homecare Workers with performance management, training, compliance with legislation and staff engagement. We are looking for someone who can help us innovate and extend our processes and performance to get the best support to our Homecare Workers, so that they can provide the best support to our clients.
To join our team you will be:
A people leader with over 3 years of management experience
Someone who understands the NZ legislative requirements around Human Resources and Health and Safety
Confident to have challenging conversations on a regular basis
Comfortable working with a very diverse workforce and able to build rapport easily
