We are searching for a Project Manager for our team in Auckland.
Based in the Wairau Valley and reporting to our Engineering Operations Director, the Project Manager is a key member of the overall leadership team, and is responsible for all parts of the project throughout its development - from initial inception to final completion.
Duties will include:
Drive project development from contract award to completion
Define the project scope, goals, deliverables and all material required
Execute the contract within the cost and time constraints defined
Oversee the project design including any mock-up or prototyping required
Oversee the coordination and mentoring of the in-house project team (Designers, Engineers, Manufacturing and Site Manager/Foreman)
Manage relationship with General Contractor
Provide QA/QC during manufacturing and installation To be successful in this role, you will have:
Degree or post-graduate qualification in Construction, Project Management or other production related subject
Minimum of five years of experience in a similar position
Leadership capabilities to enable collaboration with a team of professionals
Solid planning and time management skills
Demonstrated success at managing quality
Knowledge of Health and Safety laws and practices
