Seasonal Worker Needed
Seasonal worker required for 2021-2022 season, from calving time until mating time, Successful applicant will be helping of calving cows, getting calves and tractor work all with the supervision of the farm manager, and some milking job if needed to cover staff on days off, we are contracting milking, Kinloch farm located at Rotherham South Road Culverden, only 5 mins away from culverden town, and all the facilities you needed.
We provide a 1 bedroom cottage house located at the farm, if you needed it.
Peek cows on milking is about 400 cows, farm size is 120 hectares, with 30 aside herringbone, you will be reporting to the farm manager and herd man if the manager is off, hourly renumeration will be at $23 per hour + holiday pay accumulated on top of it, 40-50 hours per week, with rostered time off --6 days on and 1 day off on calving and 6 days on and 2 days off after calving.
On farm staff is 2 full time worker ( manager,herd man) 1 calf rearer and 1 seasonal worker.
Position Start 26 of July 2021 and ends when mating is done.
