We are looking for a security guard for immediate start replacing a retired long-serving staff member.
The position is with a static site client. Permanent hours will be Saturday 0001-1200 and Sunday 0001-1200 with additional relief shifts.
Pay rate is $23.10 per hour. Once the employee is operating independently they would become eligible for the following allowances;
Weekday night shifts Monday - Friday 0001 - 0800 getting an allowance of $0.75 per hour
Weekend night shifts Saturday & Sunday 0001 - 1200 getting an allowance of $1.25 per hour
An interested applicant will need;
Preferably a current COA with property guard endorsement, or suitability to apply for one
A clean driver’s licence for onsite vehicle patrols
Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
Duties will include;
Monitoring CCTV
Patrolling the site
Logging of all site traffic, staff, and contractors
Assisting client with alarms and evacuation procedures
