THE GIG:

We are Roading and Building (RB) Recruitment, a team of recruitment experts specialising in civil, construction, manufacturing, transport and logistics. We pride ourselves on doing things differently, and our unique approach to recruitment has seen us experience enormous growth in recent months. We have big plans and a solid growth strategy in place and are now looking for the next RB Legend to come and be a part of it!

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be experienced in agency side recruitment, well connected and understand the NZ job market. You will grow and manage your recruitment desk, building and maintaining relationships while proactively seeking new opportunities. You will be a quick-thinker able to react to situations as they arise, with a natural talent for connecting with people from all walks of life. You know how to get the best out of people for them to succeed!

This is an autonomous role where you will balance your time between the office and being out and about in your own RB vehicle. You will be visiting your clients and candidates throughout the week, while your organised approach and sound industry knowledge will see you fly through your administrative tasks.

You will be based in our Christchurch head office, however occasional visits to our other branches may be required from time to time. You will report into, and work closely with, the Managing Director while being supported by a Candidate Manager and admin team. There is real opportunity here to progress into a Branch Manager or leadership role!

Recruitment Agency experience is essential for this role
Knowledge of Civil and Construction industries
Understanding of NZ Employment Law
