Otago Pest Services is a Wild Animal Pest Control company operating in the Otago Area.
We specialise in controlling Possums, Mustelids, Pigs, Wallabies, Goats, Rabbits and Deer.
We are seeking keen, enthusiastic, motivated, fit, level headed individuals to join our teams.
While ideally we are looking for experienced operators who hold a current Controlled Substance Licence & Comprehensive First Aid (Unit Standards 6400,01,02) we are keen to talk to you if you have a genuine desire to work in the Pest Control Industry, if you enjoy the outdoors, hunting and tramping, are fit and possess the qualities we are seeking.
Although based from Cromwell most Operations are "stay away" jobs (10 days on, 4 days off). You will be under the supervision of your Team Leader. You will need to think practically, display common sense and abide by all Health & Safety Regulations. This is physical work and a very good level of fitness is required – ideally hunting/tramping is your recreational past time.
Please note: although the Base is Cromwell there is no requirement for successful candidates to be domiciled in Cromwell. Accommodation is paid while you “stay away”.
