We are looking for a permanent herd manager . Day to day farm operations duties. Farm is about 20 minute to Ashburton - on Rangitata Island. Fantastic and supportive team.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to; milking, animal health, shed hygiene, tractor driving, break fencing, irrigation, calving, weed spraying and other general farm tasks.
Calf rearing (helping )
General farm maintenance and other farm duties.
Ideally you will be skilled in identifying Mastitis, calving, bulling cows, and good health and hygiene and welfare of stock.
You must be competent on a quad bike and tractors.
Punctual and reliable.
Have the ability to work unsupervised.

-Must have a valid work visa and a NZ Drivers licence.
