About the role
Primary objective is to grow the business. You will be actively involved in every aspect of the business including operations, health & safety, client relationships and business development.
Managing a small but growing team you will have the ability, proven background and technical skill set to grow our business well beyond where it is now. Your understanding of blue-collar recruitment with knowledge across multiple industry sectors including manufacturing and logistics will help you to grasp the needs of our customers and our people. You will be solutions focused with a can-do attitude while relating and communicating effectively with people at all organisational levels.
Your proven commercial management experience and ability to develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with ELE Group's values will be critical to your success. Your strong professional and social networks coupled with a working knowledge of how business is done in the greater Canterbury region will ensure ELE maintains its strong regional presence and excellent reputation with both clients and employees.

Skills and experience

B2B sales and relationship experience
A strong commercial background with proven hands-on management of people and operations within a service-based industry
Understanding of blue-collar industries and demonstrable experience at a senior level within the manufacturing and logistics sectors would be an advantage.
Full Class 1 driver license - Clean
