We are growing, and we need a sales assistant to join our team and our new retail store. We are looking for a person who has natural selling and interpersonal skills who loves to meet new people. We believe that if you have the right attitude and motivation to learn, you can sell anything!
You need to be reliable, alert, curious, helpful, positive, work well under minimum management, be able to do two things at the same time and have patience.
At Bikesale/Taupo Bike Hire we want everyone to be able to go biking, have fun, be active and to explore all the great bike trails around Taupo.
Join our team and bring your ideas, initiative and energy to help us develop and improve what we do.
Key responsibilities:
• Helping customers find the right bike or bike product for their needs
· Ensuring that the customer leaves the store with a positive experience and a desire to return
• Renting bikes out
• Building rapport and long-term relationship with our customers
• Driving sales
• Making sure our store looks immaculate
The ideal applicant:
Has an interest in cycling and bikes
Is a hard worker
Good at active listening
Likes to meet new people
Not afraid of changes
Able to work on their own, but also in a team
Have excellent communication skills and a positive mindset.
Can work weekends
Have a NZ full driver’s license.
You may be required to undertake any other duties, and responsibilities deemed necessary for operational reasons.
