We are looking for a junior salesperson to join our team in our new store in Richmond. This is an excellent entry level position to kickstart your sales career (and to improve your communication and negotiating skills). This would ideally suit someone entering the workforce for the first time or who is wanting a career change and needs to gain the necessary experience to do so.
Firearms knowledge/sales experience/or a love of the outdoors is an advantage. Please provide examples of this in your cover letter.

You are a support person to the sales team that will also have the opportunity to sell in peak times. You will be part of the team at the biggest firearm dealer in New Zealand, selling to customers nationally and internationally too. You will provide outstanding service that will boost your customers experience and the team’s profitability. You will strive to create “raving fans” the continue to come back again & again.

Responsibilities

Key support to the sales team
Present, promote and sell products to achieve set targets
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationship
Keep up to date on current industry standards, new products and promotions
Maintain a high standard in the product areas you look after
Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements

Highly motivated and target driven
FAL holder (or happy to get one soon)
Ability to learn computer systems
