As the Product Manager - ClearTech, your focus will be to lead and grow the ClearTech Business Unit through the profitable commercial installations of the technology within the NZ agricultural market in order to contribute to the sales teams achieving agreed levels of sales revenue, profitability, market share, customer service and ensure the key stakeholders in the business are fully trained in the technology to maximise sales opportunities for ClearTech.

Reporting to the National Product Manager, you will be responsible for the continued coordination of research and on-going product development, identification of the potential market, development of the sales plan and work closely with the regional teams in achieving agreed levels of sales revenue, profitability, market share, customer service and support and ensuring adoption internally of the technology will deliver external customers. Integral to the success of this role is the continuing relationship with Lincoln researchers who remain key stakeholder partners, and coordinating their research.

You will have the ability to add value through our existing network and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, identify, and deliver new opportunities. You will have the ability to provide regional teams, customer centre, environmental and supply chain staff with training on the product and consumables.

You will have extensive farm systems knowledge and experience, and an understanding of key market requirements and the ability to provide professional and technical expertise to the business and our shareholders. You will bring with you strong commercial nous.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will have:

A degree in agriculture or business related discipline
A minimum of 10 years' experience within the agricultural sales industry
Sound understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements
High level of commercial acumen
Understanding of farming and agricultural systems
Strong knowledge of the dairy market and dairy farming systems
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Understanding of basic engineering principals would be advantageous
Sound and proven project management skills
