We are seeking a focused and driven Sales and Marketing Representative who will work alongside the Managing Director and Founder of an innovative company that is all about sustainable products. You will be representing the companies two key brands under the company portfolio.

Eco friendly and unique with strong design elements, their products and services cover a wide range and includes exposing their brand through multiple events and channels. These are all associated to the sustainable product sector for people to live a guilt free sustainable life. The required applicant will ideally come with proven sales and marketing experience and has a passion for this lifestyle, as well as a wide knowledge in the sales and marketing field. The applicant will need energy, positivity and is adaptable to change in this current environment. You will also see a problem as an opportunity to develop and will have initiative to see growth areas. The applicant will be required to be in front of customers on a regular basis which means there will be travel to visit key customers or manage expo’s and events.

Having established many key relationships you will be responsible for growing these channels as well as bringing on board new customers. You will be responsible for sales outside of FMCG and 5 top clients. Once proven you may take over these channels as well. The general channels will be your responsibility and be part commission. You will assist the Founder in managing the larger channels. You will understand promotions and the importance of numbers and costings when dealing with customers.

You will need to be a seasoned professional in marketing which means you will be well versed in the importance of good brand and good data, enabling you to measure success. You will also have impeccable written skills and base knowledge of image design for marketing campaigns. You will also have a base knowledge on online advertising to understand the data behind the initiatives. Working with the online Coordinator around influencer marketing and align it with the overall marketing plan.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the business in a key leadership role
Managing overall development and delivery of the sales in your designated channels
Taking ownership of the sales strategy for your channel
Developing strategies to achieve not only growth in their current areas of work but in new areas which will help develop the business even further. Sales calls to new stockists are part of this role.
Being confident in all aspects of sales and building strong relationships. Ideally bringing your own connections and contacts to the role.
Managing marketing campaigns on mailers and online. Along with growing collaborative initiatives.
Analysing key data to enable good decision making on marketing campaigns.
Assisting in developing the international marketing strategy and applying it.
Assisting in developing the Australian marketing strategy and growing the sales.
