The Company
Operating for over 25 years from home base in West Auckland, this successful organisation is an importer of high quality specialist building products for distribution to building supply outlets throughout New Zealand.
There is now a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to help the business achieve its next level of success.

The role
Reporting to the Managing Director the key aspects of the role include:
• Sales Management – supervise a team of 4 Sales Reps
• Business Development – growing revenue through personal sales activity, prospecting, and raising the profile of the company
• Relationship Management – networking and building lasting relationships with developers, architects, builders, specifiers, and customers

The skills and experience that will get you noticed:
• Proven product sales experience – building products preferred
• Sales team management – strong on leading a team to meet and exceed budget and activity targets
• Being a natural at networking; and developing, maintaining, and growing relationships leading to sales growth

In addition to being naturally organised as a team leam leader and builder, you will also have experience in being able to monitor and encourage team sales activity; have some knowledge of CRM systems; know how to put a great sales proposal together; and have a feel for what the numbers mean.
Effectively the 2iC to the MD, and in many instances the “front of the company”, you take on a role wider than just sales, and this additional responsibility is reflected in the remuneration package.
