Tile Imports NZ is a young and small, but prominent tile importer and distributor. We have seen strong growth and are looking for the right person to join our dynamic team. We are an organisation that prides ourselves on outstanding customer service, but at the same time don’t take things too seriously and we enjoy a laugh. We have a great culture and are looking for the right person to enhance our team even further.

This is a varied role, and we are looking for someone who will really steer the team and be the backbone we need. Some of the duties will include:

• Answering phones and actioning email queries
• Provide day-to-day co-ordination and general administrative tasks to support the sales team, management and warehousing staff
• Processing orders
• Order goods
• Assist to manage existing customer base
• Appointment setting
• Showroom management
• Social media marketing
• Customer service
• General administration as required

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A super positive attitude and a ‘can do’ mind set
• Excellent customer service skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Great organisation skills
• A team player with a great sense of humor
• Experience in tiles or the hard flooring industry would be preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of MYOB would be helpful but full training will be given
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred

Hours can be flexible, but at a minimum we would require the successful applicant to work Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. occasionally we may require slightly longer hours in line with business requirements and this role has the potential to go full time. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and keen to explore and suggest new ideas and really make this new role their own.
