WaterPro is a leading supplier of Water Treatment products and solutions and represents leading brands such as Lutz Jesco, ATG UV, Injecta, Herco and others in New Zealand. Our customer base is varied and growing with a wide range of customers in many industries.

Based out of our office in Christchurch, you will need to take charge of our equipment quotations through to orders and follow through with paperwork and customer relations until the completion of the job. You will also be out providing backup and support for our products in the field from time to time.

The role is autonomous and varied and would involve a mix of office, warehouse and site time, providing support to customers and working with our suppliers. A typical day could involve spending several hours on site then back to the office to attend to customer quotations and manage our small Christchurch store.

It’s likely you will also have some experience working in industrial environments and be comfortable using basic tools and following site Health and Safety requirements. The team is small so working together is important and requires good attention to detail and above average computer skills.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

*Actively promote our products and services
*Assist with administration as required
*Multi task, prioritise and work well in a small team environment
*Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and upskill
*Liaising with national carriers, logistics team, and global freight forwarders
*Provide estimates proposals and quotes as per customers' requirements
*Select, pack and despatch goods from time to time
*Manage customer enquiries and e-mails
*Arrange orders and deliveries of goods to customers
*Undertake site visits and service of equipment (training provided)
*Travel to sites and our Christchurch office as required

The ideal candidate will have:

*Experience and/or knowledge in the water treatment industry or a similar technical role with a minimum of 2 years experience
*Degree/Diploma/Trade Certificate in: Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical would be ideal
*Ability to work well in a small team environment
*Accuracy and attention to detail
*Computer skills above average required, you must be comfortable using Word, Excel and be able to communicate via email to a high level.
*Highly motivated; enjoy working independently and taking ownership
*Willingness to learn
*Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
*A passion for engineering
*High competency and must be able to read manuals and problem solve
*Have confidence to build relationships
*Great english communication skills to enable high level discussions with clients, subcontractors and staff
*Excellent work ethic
*Must have an NZ driver's licence
