Honda Cars Manawatu requires a highly motivated sales trainee to join their team in a critical sales support capacity.
This is a fast paced role, with plenty of variety, liaising with customers, face to face and over the phone, on a daily basis and working alongside the sales team.
You will also be responsible for photographing and listing vehicles on Trade Me and co-ordinating regular press advertising. Some vehicle logistics work is involved i.e. arranging & sending cars to various outside contractors as well as other vehicle movements & stock control.
For this role you need to be very customer, sales and results orientated. A key part of the role will involve contacting the existing Honda customer base to make test drive appointments for the sales team, booking services and making after sales follow up calls
Experience in outbound telemarketing or customer service would be useful.
What’s very important is the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to do your best. Strong computer, organisational and communication skills are required.
Although work hours are Monday to Friday, some rostered weekend work may be required from time to time.
This role could provide you with the next step towards a career in sales. If you can show commitment and deliver results there will be hands on sales training and opportunities to gain car sales experience.
