COMPANY:

A land development and environmental planning consultancy, providing a comprehensive range of land subdivision, land development, land surveying, civil engineering, resource management and statutory planning services to New Zealand's corporate, private and public sectors.

They have three offices across Auckland and feel things would work more efficiently if the Architectural side was completed in house.

They are finding that more and more of their business involves buildings. They are very active in supporting clients who establish a wide range of residential development - terraced housing, apartments and multi-level buildings

ROLE:

Essentially they want a candidate to set up an architectural department in their company understanding they would need to set up a small team around this person as support.

It will suit a progressively-minded architect looking to branch out and accept the challenge of opening up new opportunities

Your duties will include but are not limited to: coordinating projects from design to delivery, assisting with documentation, and liaising with clients, councils, and consultants.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Tertiary qualification in Architecture or similar and Preferably registered
5+ years of relevant professional experience in NZ
Can provide advice to their clients about options for development of their site
Ability to produce concepts that are innovative and meet the aspirations of clients
Can complete architectural plans, including renders, for resource consent applications
