Experienced Electrical Trade Assistants - Waikato

Kirimana Consultants is recruiting Electrical Trade Assistants for work in Waikato

We are ready to employ several Electrical T.A's across a several different and exciting projects working with our teams of experience tradesman. These positions require reliable, hardworking and safety conscious people, on a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will be to:

Manufacture brackets in line with engineering and management direction and ensure all legislation and policies are met
Fabricate, and install cable tray / supports as required
Install cables in alignment with good electrical practice.
Install equipment in line with good engineering practice.
Work within guidelines set by supervisor to ensure equipment build meets program, time, cost, and quality requirements
Monitor progress of all work and, when required, communicate any delays or problems to Leading Hand or supervisor
Undertake other related duties as the company may reasonably require.

We expect that you will pay attention to detail in your own work to ensure accuracy and quality. Communicate confidently to your line supervisor within the organisation. Comit to your work area responsibilities with a high level of accountability, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard in the expected time frames and work within a team and actively participate in team activities and tasks.

As a minimum we require at least 4 years of experience working in a similar position as an electrical technician undertaking electrical installation and/or repair and maintenance. You must be able to provide evidence of this experience through references

For these positions we are offering $25 - $30 per hour on wages. A normal week will consist of a minimum of 30 hours up to 60 hours between Monday and Saturday depending on project stage and timeline, so you must be flexible.

We have positions available in the Auckland, Waikato, Otago and Northland regions.
