Due to current growth and an increased workload Taranaki Civil Construction Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Pavement/Siteworks Foreperson to join our team based out of our Inglewood depot. This role will suit a person who is multi skilled, enjoys variety and is not afraid to get on the end of a shovel if required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrated knowledge of pavement construction and the materials and methods involved.
Understanding of drawings and specifications and to plan construction accordingly
Self-motivated with proven leadership skills
Effective and efficient use and management of resources
Good verbal and written communication skills
Competent skills in construction machinery
Sound knowledge of site safety and hazard/risk controls
New Zealand driver’s licence minimum class 1 & RTW – Class 2 preferred.
